From my point of view, I would dare to say that big data has helped companies like Amazon establish themselves in the market in the way they do today. However, for many other sectors, big data presents nothing more than advantages that can be taken advantage of not only for the economic good, but also for the common good. In general, talking about big data is talking about progress, the problem is when someone finds the formula to profit from it. Without being an expert on the subject, I would say that the sector we are talking about also has a lot of influence.
